Angkor Phrom & Bayon, Cambodia
076After leaving Angkor Wat we drove through the woods and through the gate to the largest ancient walled city: Angkor Phrom.

096Inside Angkor Phrom is Bayon, the latest Angkor Wat temple constructed, in the 13th century.

173Bayon is most famous for it's huge stone heads; there are many like this.
174
175The heads are carved on the four sides of the towers inside Bayon. There are 54 towers.

89Outside of the Bayon temple there are many other smaller temples. We walked across the grass in the warm sunlight on a lazy day in Angkor Wat to see some of them and take these photos.
