The wind settled down before we found our anchorage. Soon we tucked in behind an island and dropped the hook.

Taratao Pier

A trip to shore was in order.

This is the pier built for the prison transportation in the 30's, still hanging together.

We walked on the trail ands saw lots of nature, not much else.

Fishboat Working

Back on Wings we watched this fishing boat pull their nets, but we didn't see any fishes getting caught.

Misty Ridge

In the steamy days the jungle mists rose and added to the island's mystery.

Misty Ridge & Mountain

Tree & Cliff

Spotted this Chinese scene. Ming Dynasty for sure.

Departing Taratao

Finally time to depart Taratao. The sky is dramatic.

We headed out and smack into a bunch of niggling problems. What else would you expect.

Investigating the leak
wingssail images-judy jensen

It's hot in here investigating the source of the leak in the engine bilge, but I found it.

There is water coming in from under the shaft tube. Not an easy place to do a fiberglass repair.

Phi Phi at Dawn

We'll fix the problemn today and go here this afternoon or tommorrow.
