Final training against Jazzy II Second Place on Day 1
Day 2 is our favorite race, light upwind and strategically challinging, but we know the course and we did great (and finished first by 20 minutes).

Now we had day three to do, the spinnaker run to Nuevo Vallarta and the wind howled at the start. We put up the big chute, put the pole to the head stay and had quite a ride. Hitting 12/7 knots which is the fastest we've gone since a delivery home from Victoria after Swiftsure in 1987.

Now the big spinnaker pulling towards home, 12.7 knots
We had a couple of roundups in the big 20+ puffs but once Ricardo started calling the puffs so I could head down a little, we held on quite well.
Now the Banderas Bay Blast os over, we have first place in the regatta, and the boat is in good shape for the next races even if I have some crew issues as several of my crew have burned out. They were here for BBB but most won't be here for the next big regattas. I could use a few more crew. My helpers have also departed, Rhonda and Renee, both great to have on the boat headed back to the cold north.
