Making the New Dodger

We had a bag of parts but it only included things like bobbins, presser feet, drive belts, and cleaning tools. Only one part for the inside of the machine was included. It didn't come with the machine, I bought it at some time in the past, and I am not sure why, and don't even remember where or when I did it. But it was the only part I needed.

Notice the difference? At the top of the part there is a broken area on the old one (left)

The rotary hook assembly must be locked perfectly in place with required clearances and rotational settings down to less than a millimeter, much less. It's called setting the timing. I am fairly good at it.

Summer time is when we get the dramatic skies here in La Cruz, we like it.
