Nina, in Marina Mazatlan
This reproduction of Nina, Columbus' famous ship impressed me when I saw it in Mazatlan. This vessel had more sail area and finer sailing lines than many of today's cruising sailboats. It was also brutally sparse. Columbus' sailors were tough to cross an ocean with so little accomodation and protection
