Big A

On day three we had a good wind angle and a nice breeze to give us an exciting spinnaker reach down to Phi Phi Island. After great start we were in front until the spinnaker set then the big boats all powered up and roared ahead; it was a waterline day. We held off Horst Lakits' Big A for as long as we could, finally with the finish line in sight and our time saved, I waved him by and they sailed over us and off into the distance.
