We dingied ashore when the surf was calm but the beach was too steep and too rocky to take up the dingy so we anchored it out beyond the surf line and swam ashore with a dry bag to keep our the camera and our cloths dry. Then we walked up the hillside to a road and then up the road. The scenery was dry but interesting. There were birds we could hear but barely glimpsed. It was a good hike. Then I swam back out to the dingy and brought it in to pick up Judy.
