Clean-up and Conversion

Wings-converted

We have again converted Wings from cruiser to racer. The cruising equipment is off and the weight is out, maybe 4000 lbs of it. Wings floats high and bobs like a cork.

We also had some workers here doing other projects, cleaning the bottom, waxing, even up the mast to get oxidation off. It doesn't make us faster but it looks better.

We've done this conversion about four times. It takes about four days to complete the job if Judy & I do it (not including the clean-up, for which we have hired some local guys) but it could be done if one day with some help. Of course it will take another four days to put it all back together again for cruising.
