We are anchored at Kata Beach on Phuket Island this New Year's 1 morning.

A long tail heads out to find a fare but there is no movement behind them on charter catamaran at 09:00; maybe the inhabitants are sleeping it off this morning.

We are up and deciding what to do today, if not yet facing that choice for the whole year.
