Day One Start
Port end was favored and we hit it at speed. After the first tack to starboard we had four boat lengths lead on the next boat.

Olas Lindas and Double Take passed us but not by enough to save their time. We were awarded the win.
Day Two
No traffic on the start line on day two, except the panga. Each boat had its own start time, slower boats first and faster boats last. We started alone and sailed alone all day, trying to catch up with the slower boats which started ahead, and hoping to stay in front of the faster ones which started behind us.

We had a good beat, just passing the last boat, Jazzy II, 1/2 mile from the mark.

This is the last anyone in the fleet saw of us, just a white dot on the horizon. This is the way it was all the way to the finish.
